A bit about me:

I am a self taught professional artist living near London.  I live with my husband Peter and currently work from a studio in my parents' house.

I work in oils, pastels and charcoal, taking inspiration from photographs, poetry and the ever changing natural world around me.

Sometimes it seems like it's the big things, oceans and skies, impressive landscapes, that excite me. But it's always the small things within them that make up the picture; the movement in the water, the feathers on a bird, the lines of a face. And what excites me is the way the artist uses each brush stroke to build up a harmony of movement, combining what their eyes see with what their heart sees.
